Junior Cricket
Mottram Cricket Club has a thriving junior section, with mixed gender Under 9s, 11s, 13s, 15s & 18s sides playing in the Greater Manchester Cricket League. We also have Girls Hardball and Softball Teams competing in the Cheshire Girls Cricket League.
We pride ourselves on providing a fun, welcoming and inclusive environment for players to develop their skills and enjoy their cricket.

2026/2027 Winter Training
Junior training for Winter 2026/2027 will begin on
Sunday 1st November, with sessions once again taking place at Longdendale School.
As with last year's schedule, sessions will take place in the following slots:
U9s/U11s Softball + Developing Hardball Players |
2pm till 3pm
U11s, U13s and U15s |
3pm till 5pm
We are delighted to confirm that we have secured
ECB Level 3 coach Patrick Ashling to support the first 8-weeks of sessions in the 3pm till 5pm slot.
Patrick plays for
Cheshire's county side and is an established, highly-effective coach. We are delighted to have him with us alongside our club coaches to further strengthen our winter junior offering.
Junior winter training covers our U9s to U15s teams and is FREE to all those with an active junior membership.
New faces are always welcome and your first two sessions are totally free so you can try it out.
