AGM Notification
Dear Members,
Notice is given for the Club's Annual General Meeting (AGM), which will be held at the club at 7.30pm on Monday 1st December 2025. Registration will open at 7pm.
Nominations For Committee & Captaincy Positions
Nominations for any position should be made by email, to the club's general email (mottramcricket@gmail.com) no later than Monday 10th November.
This email should clearly identify the position for which they are being nominated and confirm who seconds this nomination.
There is one vacant Committee position:
- Grounds and Facilities Lead
There are two vacant captaincy positions:
- 2nd XI Captain
- 3rd XI Captain
There is also one additional position that the Committee would like to open up to the membership for nominations:
- Club Secretary, encompassing duties such as:
- Prepare/circulate agendas and minutes for club meetings
- Liaise with GMCL, DCCL and ECB as appropriate
- Support Committee with their activities as required
- Completion of off-field and cricket focussed administration as required

Other Resolutions
As passed at the 2024 AGM, the agenda for the 2025 AGM will include a member’s discussion on the club’s cricketing strategy, with any changes agreed to then take effect during the 2027 season.
There are no other proposed resolutions or orders of business. There is no recourse at the AGM for unannounced business.
Anyone wishing to raise a specific rule(s)/resolution or an item for Any Other Business must do so by Monday 10th November, by emailing mottramcricket@gmail.com.
Agenda and Associated Documentation
After Monday 10th November, the agenda and any necessary associated documentation will be finalised. Documents will be available for download on the club website and emailed out to members on our database.
The club accounts will be available (after auditors review) prior to the meeting by request to mottramcricket@gmail.com and discussed at a top level on the night.
We will print a limited number of each relevant document, but if you wish to ensure you have a physical copy, please download and print the material once it is available on the website. Documentation will also be shown on screens.
We will post a further update, once the agenda is confirmed and documentation is available.
