Mominul Haque Signs As Overseas Professional For 2026
Mottram CC is delighted to confirm the signing of
Mominul Haque, the Bangladeshi Test Match Cricketer and Former Captain, as our Overseas Professional for 2026.
With 74 test matches, 13 test match hundreds and >10,000 First Class runs to his name, Mominul’s record speaks for itself.
The Left Handed Top Order Batter remains an integral part of the Bangladesh Test Match Squad and will add international pedigree to our 1st XI for their debut season in GMCL Premier 2.
In addition to spearheading the 1st XI's campaign, Mominul will play an
active role in the junior and senior set-up at Mottram CC, supporting Junior Friday Nights, 1-2-1 sessions and our Junior Cricket Camp.
Club President Liam Wright, said: “Signing Mominul is a hugely exciting moment for us.
To have a player of his calibre wear the Cherry Red of Mottram is truly special.
This is
not just a signing to strengthen our 1st XI but an investment in the whole club. The benefits of having a player of his experience and insight won't just be felt on a Saturday afternoon.
Mominul will add a whole new dimension to our junior offering and also to the way our senior sides train.
